Private Island Listings exists because the private island market is poorly documented. Buyers routinely discover ownership restrictions, seabed rights, permitting limits and infrastructure costs only after they have committed time and money to a specific property.
We research those frameworks country by country, publish what we find in plain English, and route serious inquiries to the people who can actually transact.
What we do
- Publish independent, country-level research on ownership rules, tenure, taxes, access and infrastructure
- Organise the market by region, budget band and island type so buyers can narrow it quickly
- Collect structured buyer, owner and broker inquiries and connect them with relevant professionals
What we do not do
- We are not a brokerage and do not represent buyers or sellers in a transaction
- We do not publish invented listings, prices or testimonials
- We do not provide legal, tax, valuation or investment advice
- We do not accept payment to present a market as more favourable than it is
